We're looking for candidates who can work weekends and holidays during the peak season and take pride in giving customers a great experience on the water.
Yard Team Member
Work in a casual, fun atmosphere on beautiful docks assisting customers with their boat outings. Clear Lake Boats is looking to hire full and part-time Yard Team Members for the boating season. The right candidate must be willing to work in changing weather conditions and able to work holidays and weekends during the summer peak season.

- Pulling boats & PWC with skid loader or tractor
- Trailering, loading out, and launching boats
- Delivering & retrieving customer boats as needed
- Driving company vehicles while pulling large vessels
- Backing trailers into small spaces
- Maintaining an orderly storage lot
- Driving & operating marina vehicles safely
- Keeping appropriate records as requested
- Communicating with 2-way radio
- Assisting shop technicians and rental staff as needed
- Helping customers depart and arrive safely
- Mowing and general maintenance
- Keeping yard and lot clean
- Greeting customers and overseeing parking lot
- Dumping used oil and filters
- Pulling drain plugs, installing poles & boat covers, testing & changing batteries
- Installing hoist covers and checking marina docks for loose boards and nails
- Adding fuel to customer boats & PWC
- Cleaning & organizing the shop, emptying garbage, crushing cardboard
- Completing other tasks as assigned
Additional consideration for applicants with general boating experience or tractor & skid loader experience.
Rental Crew
Work in a casual, fun atmosphere assisting others with their boat outings. Clear Lake Boats is looking to fill vacancies in the Rental Department for the boating season. The right candidate must be willing to work in changing weather conditions and able to work holidays and weekends during the summer peak season.

- Answering calls & scheduling boat rental appointments
- Completing rental paperwork & processing payments
- Calling or emailing appointment reminders
- Driving & docking rental boats and PWC
- Giving drivers & passengers safety instructions
- Keeping records as requested by management
- Cleaning rental boats, PWC, and all rental equipment
- Keeping the lighthouse & surrounding areas clean
- Raking and keeping the beach & lot clean
- Helping on the gas dock as needed
- Checking marina docks for loose boards and nails
- Power washing and keeping company vehicles clean
- Installing & removing hoist covers
- Delivering customer boats as needed
- Completing other tasks as assigned
Gas Dock Attendant
Work in a casual, fun atmosphere assisting others with their boat outings. Clear Lake Boats is looking for Gas Dock Attendants for the boating season. The right candidate must be willing to work in changing weather conditions and able to work holidays and weekends during the summer peak season.

- Greeting customers & tying up boats
- Activating fuel pumps
- Filling up gas tanks
- Using basic math skills for counting money
- Charging purchases to customers' credit cards
- Providing customers with receipts
- Answering questions and providing directions if needed
- Assisting rental department staff as needed
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Checking restrooms when gas sales are slow
- Vacuuming Pro Shop and emptying garbage
- Restocking shelves & replenishing product coolers
- Keeping the lot & beach clean
- Watering outdoor plants & pulling weeds
- Completing other tasks as assigned
